By daylight, all had cleared, but was still overcast.
We packed up and headed out for the Black
Hills.
By 9:30 or so, it was blue
skies.
We rode through the Badlands.
Don got a stamp for his National Parks
Passport book.
We took a few pictures
and continued on.
We stopped at Wall
Drug to take some pictures.
We figured
since we have no time frame, we might as well get all the cheesy pictures we
can.

We continued to Mt Rushmore and –
you guessed it – more cheesy pictures.
There are a ton of bikes out and we have been told that there is some
sort of gathering at Deadwood.
We
continued on to I-90 again and passed the place we had originally intended to
stay.
We checked ahead and decided to
stop at Gillette, WY for the night.
We
stocked up on some groceries and a few other things at a local Wal-Mart.
Got to the campground, and are just
relaxing.
The weather is great.
About 75 degrees, light breeze with the same
predicted for the next few days.
